Colonial Period Carpenter's Hall Wall Sconce - Model No. S1228N

$880.00
List price: $880.00

Colonial Period Carpenter's Hall Wall Sconce in antique brass, 2 lights, mirror back. Size: 10"wide x 23"high, extends 4-1/2". Available in other finishes. Twelve of these sconces were to believe to have been in place when the First Continental Congress met at Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphia on September 7, 1774. Two still remain today. These hand-crafted Colonial Period sconces are reproductions of Early American lighting that typify the beauty and functionality of metal sconces. The use of reflection and shading is evident in many of the early pieces thru the inspirational use of mirrors and scalloped metal stampings to the subtle diffused glow from a linen or metal shade.
