The Chateau d'Versailles, located a short distance from Paris, was the country home of the French kings and subsequently transformed into a palace by Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. It's solid cast bronze frames was lavishly decorated with magnificent baroque crystal and personified the opulence and grandeur of the era. The Garden of Versailles Crystal Chandelier is draped with whimsical fruits as shown here with emerald green pears.
